Yes! When you have logged in to the password protected web site, navigate to the document you want to transcribe. As long as the document image is visible in your browser, the Old Handwriting extension should be able to transcribe the text that you select from the document.

If you encounter a website where the extension does not work, it's probably not because of the password protection but more likely due to something in the HTML coding of the site. Please open a support ticket and our development team will do their best to update the extension so that it works on that site.
