Automatic Updates
By default, Chrome extensions update automatically.
Manual Update Check
If you want to manually check for updates:
-
Open Chrome and type "chrome://extensions" in the address bar, then press Enter.
-
On the Extensions page, click the Update button located at the top of the page.
-
Chrome will check for updates to all your extensions and install any available updates.
Updating only the Old Handwriting Extension
To update a specific extension:
-
Open Chrome and type "chrome://extensions" in the address bar.
-
Find the Old Handwriting extension.
-
Click the "Details" button for the extension.
-
Scroll down to the "Version" section. If an update is available, you'll see an "Update" button.
-
Click the "Update" button if it's visible.
If you don't see any update options, your extension is likely already on the latest version.
Troubleshooting Updates
If updates aren't working:
-
Make sure you're connected to the internet.
-
Try restarting your Chrome browser.
-
If the extension still doesn't update, try removing and reinstalling it from the Chrome Web Store.
